Palm Schwenkfelder Church – 1911 to present
“The quaint blocks masoned into these walls were pried out of yonder hills, and these timbers grew on the bosom of this countryside our forefathers helped to create. Here the oaks of Hosensack, Washington, and Kraussdale have been set up as an appropriate seal of the work upon which we look back today. That means liberality and strength. And at the root of it all the great principle of Schwenkfeld, and of every honest Christian for that matter, must forever lay to preach Christ as the Saviour of men.” Excerpt from Dedicatory Address by Dr. Elmer E. S. Johnson September 24, 1911
