PASTOR NICHOLAS L. PENCE, JR.
The Rev. Nicholas L. Pence, Jr. began ministry with Palm Schwenkfelder Church in August of 2007. Ordained in 1999 in the United Church of Christ, he received his BA in Sociology from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill in 1996, and his Masters of Divinity from Lancaster Theological Seminary in 1999. He is married to the Rev. Barbara Pence, and together they have three children – Kate, Nicholas, and Andrew. Pastor Nick feels blessed to be a part of this wondrous, caring community of faith and looks forward to God’s Spirit continuing to inspire, challenge and lead us as we embrace God’s today. |

CHURCH OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR, LESLIE J. REYBURN-SHISLER
Leslie has been a member of the Central Schwenkfelder Church since she was a child and was their Church Administrator for 18 years. She received her degree in Home Economics Education and minor in Business from Messiah College and was a high school cheerleading coach for 25 years (first at Upper Dublin High School then at Souderton Area High School)! Leslie feels so blessed to now be part of the Palm family and looks forward to seeing how God will use her here.

CONTACT: preschool@palmschwenkfelderchurch.com Heather, is a long time member of Central Schwenkfelder Church in Worcester and current board member of the Schwenkfelder Library and Heritage Center. She has a Master’s in Education and will be using that degree along with prior teaching experience in this combined role of Director of The Preschool of Palm Church and Coordinator of Palm’s Christian Education ministry primarily through our Sunday School & Youth program.

| ASSISTANT PRESCHOOL TEACHER, ALICIA WHITE
Alicia is our Assistant Teacher here at The Preschool at Palm Church. She has about 5 years experience working with children and has additional experience working with children with special needs. She has an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Studies from Montgomery County Community College and is currently expanding her knowledge with special needs children. She’s married to her husband Nik and they have 3 children. Alicia can’t wait to work with you and your children! |
| CHANCEL CHOIR DIRECTOR, GAIL FERRY

Ed was a life-long member of the Palm Schwenkfelder Church. He began participating in the church’s music program as a member of the Junior Choir. He became the Senior Choir Director in 1971, and the Director of music in 2011. Ed enjoyed playing the tuba in the community’s Red Hill Band, and directing the ecumenical United Schwenkfelder Choir.
Gail Ferry is a lifelong member of Palm Schwenkfelder church and has been a member of the Senior Choir since 1975. Previously, Gail directed the Junior and Cherub Choirs at Palm for 20 years. She teaches 7th Grade Language Arts in Quakertown Community School District. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree as a Reading Specialist from Kutztown University. She continued her education and became certified to teach middle level English and Social Studies. Gail has been involved with music throughout her life and enjoys being part of the music program at Palm.
